Vijay Sampla, Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, and BJP Punjab president, has appealed to the activists of the party in the state to hold dharnas at all district headquarters on January 16 to apprise the people of the failure of the state government.
Jiwan Gupta, BJP state general secretary, Punjab, while addressing a news conference here today said the state government had not fulfilled even a single promise made before the Assembly poll.
Former MLA Mohan Lal, BJP national council member Manjit Lal, former Improvement Trust chairman Tejaswi Bhardwaj, BJP leaders Manu Dhir, Umesh Sharda, Yagya Dutt Aery and district president Sham Sunder Aggarwal were also present on the occasion.
