JALANDHAR: The Mohali Hockey Academy was declared the winner in the 19th edition of the Olympian Mohinder Munshi tournament played at the Punjab Armed Police grounds here today.

The Mohali Hockey Academy was declared the winner in the 19th edition of the Olympian Mohinder Munshi tournament played at the Punjab Armed Police grounds here today.

The winners defeated Khadoor Sahib Academy 4-1.

The Mohali Hockey Academy was awarded a cash prize of Rs 51,000 and the runners-up Rs 31,000. The best players of the tournament Hemjit Singh, Germanjit Singh, Harinder Singh and Prabhjot Singh were given cash award of Rs 5,000. Also present on the occasion were tournamnet committee chairman and international player Daljit Singh, olympian Sanjeev Kumar, olympain Baljit Singh Saini and Satpal Singh Munshi.
