Chandan Grewal

Jalandhar, March 11

Many AAP candidates who had left their jobs for the elections could not win. Safai Karamchari Chandan Grewal lost from Kartarpur while Sajjan Singh Cheema, who took pre-mature retirement from the Punjab Police and contested from Sultanpur Lodhi, too has lost the polls. Having been declared a candidate in the first list, he had toiled for more than six months going from door-to-door and even crossing Beas a number of times to meet voters in the Mand area.—TNS
