JALANDHAR: The Punjab girls on Tuesday thrashed the J&K team by 13-0 in the national school hockey U-19 games presently being held at Jalandhar.

The Punjab girls on Tuesday thrashed the J&K team by 13-0 in the national school hockey U-19 games presently being held at Jalandhar. The Punjab boys’ team smashed the Chandigarh boys’ team by 3-0.

The State Sports organiser Rupinder Ravi informed that in the boy’s category, Himachal Pradesh beat Madhya Pradesh by 2-1. Pudducherry beat KVS by 3-2.

In another match, Haryana beat NVS by 11-0 and Delhi beat Karnataka by 4-0. Also, Vidya Bharati beat J&K by 4-2. Telangana faced Chhattisgarh by 5-0 and UP beat NVS by 4-0.

UP also beat Kerala in another match and entered into the next stage. Odisha beat Chattisgarh by 9-0 and Uttrakhand beat DAV by 6-0.

Himachal Pradesh beat Pudducherry by 8-0 and UP beat Telangana by 11-0. Kerala beat CBSE by 6-3 and Utrakhand beat ICSE by 3-2.
