Registration for dist job fair in Hoshiarpur today

HOSHIARPUR:Deputy Commissioner Vipul Ujwal today said the district-level Job fair would be held on September 4 at Multi Skills Development centre, ITI, Hoshiarpur.

Deputy Commissioner Vipul Ujwal today said the district-level Job fair would be held on September 4 at Multi Skills Development centre, ITI, Hoshiarpur. 

He said the interested ones could get themselves registered for the fair from 10am to 5pm on September 2 at Multi Skills Development centre.

He said mechanical diploma holders, who passed out only from government  polytechnic colleges in 2017, graduates; ITI students and undergraduates would be eligible to participate in the job fair.

The DC said teams from industrial units or various companies would recruit students or youngsters as per their requirements. He added that the Department of Technical Education and District Employment Generation had set up help desks to facilitate the youths.

As many as 194 candidates will get placed by eight industrial units and companies. Of these, International Tractor Limited Sonalika, Hoshiarpur, will recruiting 10 trainee engineers and 10 trainee operators.
