Thirty-six-year-old Vivek Joshi, who has defied big oddities in his life and who was born with cerebral palsy, has managed to overcome all his disabilities and has been teaching around 50 economically weaker students free of cost.

Joshi says that he always motivates his students to never let any problem bog down them. Joshi has been giving education free of cost to needy people in an open school in a park close to his house.

Confined to a wheelchair and having extremely low visibility and ability to move just one hand that too with much difficulty, Vivek is an LLM and MBA and has recently got a national award.

He has now started taking up assignments regarding hardware and software

Sukhvinder Kaur, who used to work as a domestic help, is his student. She says, “I left my studies 20 years ago when I was in class VII, but when I met Vivek sir, he inspired me to study further and last year, I appeared in the class X examination.”

Forgetting his problems, he started giving education to needy children as he says that he does not want anyone to remain deprived of anything. “It is from them that I derive a lot of inspiration. Smiles on their faces give me immense happiness,” he says.

He said for him, the guiding force was his parents and they were his first teachers who taught him to be confident and always help others.
