Sukhpal Khaira files nomination from Bholath

AAP leader and Bholath candidate Sukhpal Khaira today filed his affidavit on Lohri day – which also happens to be his birthday - from Bholath, after a huge show of strength in his constituency.

Addressing a gathering at Rampur village, accompanied by AAP leader Sanjay Singh, Khaira went ahead to file his nomination along with a big road show from the village to the returning officer’s office. Khaira was accompanied by his son Mehtab Singh and wife Jatinder Kaur Khaira while filing his nomination. His son Mehtab Singh - an advocate by profession – was also his covering candidate.

This is the third nomination which has been filed from the Doaba region in the first three days ever since the nominations begun.
