The body of a retired school teacher, Krishan Singh, was found floating in a pond in Manak village under the Phagwara subdivision yesterday evening. Hailing from Moga, Krishan Singh, he was residing in Nawashahr. The deceased was missing since September 27. His son Sanjay Singh had lodged a missing report with the Nawanshehr police on September 28. It is yet to be ascertained if it is a suicide case. A case has been registered. — TNS
