Vehicle catches fire, residents escape unhurt

Phagwara: A family of Jalandhar resident Subhash Chander of Milap Chowk had a narrow escape when their Esteem car no PB-08AD-7377 caught fire on the Phagwara—Hoshiarpur Road on Sunday noon.



Phagwara: A family of Jalandhar resident Subhash Chander of Milap Chowk had a narrow escape when their Esteem car no PB-08AD-7377 caught fire on the Phagwara—Hoshiarpur Road on Sunday noon. 

The members of the family escaped unhurt. The SHO Rawalpindi Sikandar Singh said Subhash Chander along with his wife and three sons was coming from Hoshiarpur when smoke started emanating from their car which converted into fire instantly.

SHO said the exact cause of fire could not be known.— OC
