Sanskriti KMV School gave a party to Class I graders to welcome them to the new session.



Sanskriti KMV School gave a party to Class I graders to welcome them to the new session. With a phase of transformation and hopes, students rejuvenated ahead of the new session. Principal Rachna Monga interacted with students. Children sang and danced to their favourite numbers and played games. The day was packed with enjoyment and concluding with their refreshments

World Intellectual Property Day

World Intellectual Property Day was celebrated at Dr BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar. World Intellectual Property Day, observed on April 26 every year, is a day dedicated to learn about the role that intellectual property rights (patents, trademarks, industrial designs and copyright) play in encouraging innovation and creativity. This year’s world intellectual theme was women in innovation and creativity. The campaign celebrates the brilliance, ingenuity, curiosity and courage of the women shaping the common future. The important and inspiring contributions of countless women around the globe are powering change in the world. Their “can do” attitude is an inspiration for all and their remarkable achievements are an invaluable legacy for young girls who have aspirations to become the inventors and creators of tomorrow. To celebrate this day, a workshop on ‘Patent filling in India’ was organised at the institute in the National Knowledge Network (NKN) hall. The programme was organised by Dr A Mukhopadhyay and Dr Vinay Midha. Dr LK Awasthi, Director, NIT, Jalandhar, inaugurated the event, accompanied by Dean, Research and Consultancy, Dr Arvind Bhardwaj. It was followed by an interactive session by Divya Kaushik, scientist, Punjab State Council for Science and Technology.

Farewell party

The PG Department of Commerce and Business Administration of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, organised a farewell party ‘Sayonara’ for the outgoing students of under-graduate and post-graduate classes. Students presented song and dance performances. Various games played by students added fun to the party. The students of the final year showcased their talent by participating in modelling. At under-graduate level, Komalpreet won the title of Ms Farewell, Megha and Chitwan bagged the title of Ms Elegant, Anchal was selected as Ms Confident and Manpreet was selected for the best attire. At the post-graduate level, Dilpreet was selected as Ms Farewell, Sonika bagged the title of Ms Elegant, Arushi and Rosepreet won the title of Ms Confident and Gunjan was selected for the best attire. Principal Prof Atima Sharma Dwivedi blessed the students for their bright and successful future and applauded efforts of the department of commerce.
