Srinagar, July 31
At least one person was killed in a sudden rainstorm in central Kashmir's Budgam district on Friday evening.
"The cloudburst has occurred in Chanz area near Doodhpatri tourist place in Budgam this evening. One person has been killed," Deputy Commissioner of Budgam Altaf Ahmad Mir said.
The person who died was yet to be identified.
"Our teams have reached the area and are monitoring the situation. We are still awaiting details," he said. — PTI
