The Traffic Police have booked 116 minibus operators in a week under a special drive against overloading. The have also been issued challans.
A spokesman of the Traffic Police (City) said eight minibuses had been impounded for the same offence from February 14 to 21.
“As many as 86 two-wheelers and 263 other vehicles have been impounded for violating traffic rules across Srinagar,” he said.
