Union Health Minister JP Nadda has felicitated the administration of two hospitals under the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) for their role in promoting quality healthcare.
The Health Ministry has recognised the efforts of District Hospital, Baramulla, and Community Health Centre, Sankoo, Kargil, in promoting cleanliness, hygiene and infection control, which have contributed to improved quality of care.
Both hospitals were felicitated by the Union Health Minister at the national felicitation ceremony in New Delhi on Thursday.
Director, Health Services, Kashmir, Dr Saleem ur Rehman has congratulated the hospital administrators and their staff. Applauding the role of every health personnel of both hospitals, Rehman said the award was a recognition of the hard work and dedication of the officers of both hospitals.
A Directorate of Health Services Kashmir spokesperson said of the five hospitals selected in J&K under Kayakalp, three were from Kashmir division. “Such a feat has brought laurels to the health services of Kashmir division,” he said.
