2 injured as Pakistan violates ceasefire in Arnia sector of J&K

JAMMU: Two people were injured as the Pakistan Army on Thursday resorted to unprovoked firing with small arms and mortars around midnight in Arnia area of J&K’s RS Pura sector. The Border Security Force (BSF) retaliated. Intense shelling is going on at present.

Jammu, September 21

Two people were injured as the Pakistan Army on Thursday resorted to unprovoked firing with small arms and mortars around midnight in Arnia area of J&K’s RS Pura sector.

The Border Security Force (BSF) retaliated. Intense shelling is going on at present.

The injured have been shifted to Ramgarh hospital. People from the affected areas have been put in a bullet-proof bunker.                                            

Three animals were killed in the shelling and around 10 have been injured.
