Rajouri, November 21
Three Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, including a deputy commandant, were injured in a road accident near Sunderbani on the Jammu-Poonch highway today.
BSF sources said Deputy Commandant Devi Charan of 163 Battalion along with driver Kunwar Vikrant and bodyguard Kanahiya Kumar were travelling in an official Gypsy. When the vehicle reached near Bhakar village, a Scorpio coming from the opposite side hit the Gypsy, injuring three of them.
Passersby helped the injured and took them to the Sub-District Hospital at Sunderbani. Vikrant, who received a head injury, was referred to Government Medical College Hospital in Jammu. — OC
