JAMMU: Three persons were on Thursday killed and five injured when a truck they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district.

Three persons were on Thursday killed and five injured when a truck they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district.

The mishap took place at Morha Dullu Budhan in Mahore tehsil of Reasi district, a police officer said, adding Mushtaq Ahmed, Riaz Ahmed and Shafi died and five others were injured.

The bodies were recovered and injured have been hospitalised, the officer added. — PTI
