4,518 pilgrims offer prayers at Amarnath shrine

SRINAGAR: On day 24 of the annual Amarnath yatra, 4,518 pilgrims paid obeisance at the holy cave shrine in the upper reaches of Pahalgam in south Kashmir today.

On day 24 of the annual Amarnath yatra, 4,518 pilgrims paid obeisance at the holy cave shrine in the upper reaches of Pahalgam in south Kashmir today.

With this, the total number of yatris who paid obeisance at the cave shrine so far this year has gone up to 2,36,515. The yatra began on June 29 and is scheduled to conclude after 40 days on August 7, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan.
