Atima Bakshi of Jodhamal School gets 98% in commerce

In the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class XII examination, the result of which was declared on Saturday, Atima Bakshi of Jodhamal School secured 98 per cent marks in the commerce stream. She was also the overall topper of the school.
Vishwdeep Singharia of Jodhamal School topped the science stream in the school with 97 per cent and Nimisha Shukla topped the humanities stream (97 per cent).
Ritikesh Gupta of JK Public School (JKPS), Kunjwani, secured 95.8 per cent marks to top the commerce stream. From Army Public School (APS), Akhnoor, Indresh Gupta secured 95.4 per cent marks in the commerce stream and became the topper of the school.
Santosh Kumar Singh, principal, JKPS, said of 153 students who appeared in the exams this year, 105 scored 75 per cent and above.
He said Ritikesh Gupta and Tania Kumari scored 100 out of 100 in economics and physical education, respectively, becoming subject toppers at the national level.
Khushboo Khare from humanities stream topped by scoring 96 per cent marks. Dyuti Sharma from non-medical stream secured 95.4 per cent and Angel Gupta from the medical stream secured 94.6 per cent marks. APS, Akhnoor, recorded 100 per cent result with all 132 students qualifying the exams. Five students of the school secured above 90 per cent marks.
