Cabinet orders transfers of 31 IAS, KAS officers

The Cabinet on Thursday approved the transfers and postings of 31 IAS and KAS officers in the civil administration.

It has ordered that BB Vyas, Financial Commissioner, Planning Development & Monitoring Department, would hold the additional charge of Relief and Rehabilitation Department till further orders. Bipul Pathak, Chairman, Special Tribunal, has been posted as Commissioner-Secretary to the Transport Department.

Asgar Samoon, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner-Secretary to the Higher Education Department. Vinod Koul, Commissioner-Secretary, Animal Sheep Husbandry and Science and Technology Department has been shifted and posted as Chairman, J&K Special Tribunal.

Sarita Chouhan, Commissioner-Secretary, Social Welfare Department, would hold the additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Science and Technology Department.

Mohd Afzal Bhat, Commissioner-Secretary, Revenue, Relief & Rehabilitation Department, would be new Commissioner-Secretary to the Floriculture Department, relieving Farooq Ahmad Shah of the additional charge.

RK Bhagat, Secretary the Transport Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Animal & Sheep Husbandry Department.

Baseer Khan, Secretary to the Cooperatives Department has been transferred and posted as new Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir.

Hemant Sharma, Secretary to the Higher Education Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Cooperatives Department. Sarmad Hafeez, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been transferred and posted as Labour Commissioner.

Vipra Bhal, Labour Commissioner, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Housing Board, relieving Commissioner-Secretary to the Housing & Urban Development Department of the additional charge. Zubair Ahmad, Director, Information, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Home Department.

Arun Sharma, Special Secretary to the Planning Development and Monitoring Department has been transferred and posted as CEO, Integrated Watershed Management Programme, relieving Director, Panchayati Raj of the additional charge.

Tasadduq Jeelani, Director, Rural Development, Kashmir, has been posted as Director, CAPD, Kashmir.

Gazzanfer Ali, Director, Handicrafts, has been posted as Director, Rural Development Department, Kashmir.

Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, Director, CAPD, Kashmir, has been posted as Director, Handicrafts. Mohammad Akbar Ganai, Special Secretary to the CAPD Department, would be new Special Secretary to the Revenue, Relief & Rehabilitation Department.

Nisar A Wani, Special Secretary to the Information Technology Department, has been posted as Special Secretary to the CAPD Department. Arshad Ayoub, Special Secretary to the Home Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Chief Secretary.

Manmohan Singh, ADDC, Kathua, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, replacing Mandeep Kou who would await further orders in General Administration Department.

Sheikh Fayaz Ahmed, KAS, Special Secretary to the Technical Education Department has been transferred and posted as Director, Youth Services and Sports.

Pradeep Kumar, Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, has been transferred and posted and Director, Rural Development, Jammu replacing Manohar Lal Raina, who shall await further orders in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.

Talat Parvez, Director, Floriculture, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Mission Director, ICDS, relieving Hasmat Ali Yatoo, Director Social Welfare Kashmir of the additional charge. Mohd. Saleem Shishger, Secretary (Revenue Resources) in the Finance Department has been posted as Secretary, IT and Technical Education Department. Majid Khalid Drabu, Special Secretary to PWD, has been transferred and posted as Director, Hospitality and Protocol, against available vacancy.

Mohammad Hussain Mir, Special Secretary to the General Administration Department, will be Director, Floriculture, Kashmir. Mohd Ashraf Mir, Commissioner-Secretary to the Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs Department, has been posted as Commissioner-Secretary to the Revenue Department.

Bashir Ahmad Dar, Special Secretary in Chief Minister’s Secretariat would hold the additional charge of the post of Director, Information, J&K. Abdul Majid Bhat, Secretary, Legislative Council, would hold the additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Department till further orders.
