Baramulla, April 26
As many as 343 youth were placed in reputed firms during walk-in interviews organised on the sidelines of a two-day youth festival in Baramulla.
The “Jashn-e-Baramulla”, organised by the Army in collaboration with the local administration at the Showkat Ali Stadium on the Government Degree College campus, concluded today.
The closing ceremony was attended by Lt Gen JS Sandhu, GOC, Chinar Corps; Javed Mustafa Geelani, IGP Kashmir; Major General RP Kalita, GOC Dagger Division; and other prominent Army and civil administration officials.
A statement issued by the Army said the job fair and raffle draws were the highlights of the festival. At the draws, residents won 15 prizes, including a motorcycle and a scooter.
