Srinagar, December 20
Students of Government Medical College (GMC), Srinagar, today held a protest demonstration against the killings in Aleppo, Syria.
The students were carrying posters and placards with slogans showing solidarity with the people of Aleppo who have come under attack from Russian and pro-Bashar Asad forces.
The students raised slogans against the Asad regime and sought intervention of the United Nations to save the civilians in Aleppo.
“It is a solidarity march with the people of Syria which is witnessing a genocide. Thousands of children, women and men have been murdered in cold blood. The least we as human beings can do is show our solidarity with them,” said a GMC student.
