Website on Hanuman yagya launched

JAMMU: Governor NN Vohra launched www.hanumanyagya.org and a related mobile app developed by the Hridaydeep Charitable Trust, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu, at Raj Bhawan here today.

Governor NN Vohra launched www.hanumanyagya.org and a related mobile app developed by the Hridaydeep Charitable Trust, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu, at Raj Bhawan here today.

Through the website, the devotees, in any part of the world, can participate in the Shri Hanuman Yagya 2017-18, which started today on Hanuman Jayanti and will culminate on March 31, 2018. This endeavour is envisaged to achieve 11 crore chantings of Hanuman Chalisa, which will culminate in a havan at Jammu on March 25, 2018.

Complimenting the trust for its endeavour, the Governor emphasised the need to develop easy to understand reading material which could be understood by one and all, anywhere in the world. He hoped that the trust would continue its philanthropic activities with the same zeal as it had been doing for the past many years.

Swami Hridayanand Giri, Tirath Ram Tidyal, trustee of the Trust, Harish Nanda, Rajesh Gupta, vice-president, VHP, Harinder Gupta, general secretary, BJP, Ashish Gupta, member, Tourism Federation of India, Rahul Dogra and Sourabh Gupta, both technicians who have developed the website, were present.

Umang Narula, Principal Secretary to the Governor, OP Bhagat, Additional Secretary, and Hitesh Gupta, Deputy Secretary, Raj Bhawan, also attended the presentation.
