Jammu, October 18

Director General of Police (DGP) SP Vaid today inaugurated a residential block at Gulshan Ground, Jammu. The block has been constructed to meet the residential requirements of the police personnel.

Earlier this month, Vaid inaugurated seven blocks of accommodation at Kehribal, Mattan, and four blocks at Dignibal, Ganderbal, to provide better accommodation to the personnel deployed in the areas concerned.

The DGP was accompanied by Special DG VK Singh, MD, Police Housing Corporation, Danesh Rana, IGP, Jammu, SD Singh, IGP, Headquarters, PHQ, Surinder Kumar Gupta and SE, PHQ, Rashid Mustafa.

The police are upgrading its infrastructure to provide better facilities to the personnel. Various residential and office accommodation has been constructed across the state. — TNS
