Jammu, February 19
Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua, celebrated its first annual day today. Kathua Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ramesh Kumar was the chief guest while Rajesh Sharma, DC, Excise, Lakhanpur, was the guest of honour.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Students performed various cultural programmes, including a skit, during the celebrations named “Prayaas”.
In his address, the chief guest appreciated the efforts of students and staff. He said in order to gain success one had to face many difficulties and face them with courage.
Principal Shuchita Gupta presented the annual report, highlighting the achievements of the students and spoke about plans for nurturing and promoting Jammu Sanskriti School. — TNS
