MHAC School holds alumni meet

JAMMU: Maharaja Harisingh Agri Collegiate (MHAC) School, Nagbani, organised an alumni meet at the school campus here today.

Maharaja Harisingh Agri Collegiate (MHAC) School, Nagbani, organised an alumni meet at the school campus here today.

The day started with a ‘vedic havan’ in which principal of the school, Sween Puri, and senior members of the alumni association were present.

After the havan, football, basketball, cricket and tug of war were played. The sports activities were followed by a musical session that started with the DAV song.

The post-lunch session provided a platform for the guests to share old memories and to know the developments of the alma mater. A one-minute silence was observed to pay tributes to the departed members of the Nagbani family. The cultural bonanza started with a song by Brig Balbir Singh. Many of the alumni shared their memorable moments with the audience. The school faculty presented a solo Dogri song and a remix of old Hindi songs. The Nagbani Alumni Association also presented a memento to Principal Sween Puri. — TNS
