Jammu, April 16
A delegation of the International Human Rights Protection Council, led by its president AN Bhardwaj, met Governor NN Vohra at Raj Bhawan on Monday.
The delegation apprised the Governor about the activities undertaken by the council, which included issues relating to the minorities and negating Pakistan’s propaganda to cause communal tension in Jammu and Kashmir, etc.
The delegation demanded thorough probe against the individuals and organisations who were involved in the “anti-state” propaganda.
The Governor appreciated the council’s continuing efforts to highlight important issues of public interest and urged Bhardwaj and his colleagues to continue their ground work.
