Speaker Kavinder Gupta on Sunday convened a grievance redressal camp at ward no. 56, Gangyal, in the Gandhi Nagar constituency.
During the camp, the Speaker listened to the issues and demands of residents, including supply of drinking water, cleanliness of a nullah passing through the area, construction of lanes and drains, installation of electric poles, replacement of damaged transformers and construction of a bridge.
The Speaker gave on-spot directions to the authorities concerned for the desilting of drains to avoid choking. He said all genuine demands of the residents would be addressed at the earliest.
He also directed the officials concerned to construct a watercourse alongside lanes to avoid submerging of roads. He appealed to people to maintain cleanliness in their areas.
