Guv, Kangan MLA discuss developmental issues

Kangan MLA Mian Altaf Ahmad called on Governor NN Vohra at Raj Bhavan.

The Governor and Mian Altaf held extensive discussions regarding the challenges being faced by the state and the various major developmental issues which require high-priority attention, particularly road connectivity and power generation.

They discussed issues relating to the arrangements for the Amarnath yatra, in the context of the projected construction of the road to the western portal of the Zojila tunnel.

Jain meets Vohra

Prof Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, also called on Governor NN Vohra here today.

Prof Jain briefed the Governor about several important academic and administrative matters relating to the varsity. Vohra discussed with Prof Jain certain issues relating to the forthcoming admissions at various levels and the need to secure the induction of students in the highest performance brackets.
