Hajini’s two books released

Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Law & Parliamentary Affairs Abdul Haq along with writer, poet and litterateur Rehman Rahi on Sunday released Aziz Hajini’s two books titled “Asi Chi Puran Hamsayan tal” and “Me and My Animal.”

The function was organised by a literary organisation, Adbee Markaz Kamraz, in collaboration with Radio Kashmir, Srinagar, and the Directorate of Information.

Abdul Haq, who was the chief guest on the occasion, praised the Hajini’s books. He termed the couplets that were read on the occasion as being full of emotional and intellectual contribution.

Rehman Rahi, a Jnanpith awardee, who presided over the function, threw light on the poetry penned by Hajini. He said it was full of layers and touched every shade of life.

Langate MLA Engineer Rasheed, State Accountability Commission chairman Justice (retd) Bashir Khan, Vice Chancellor of Central University Prof Mehraj-ud-din, chief executive officer of Economic Reconstruction Agency Farooq A Lone, Deputy Commissioner Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Tourism Director Mehmood Shah besides poets, writers and others were present on the occasion.
