Employees of the Information Department have proceeded on an indefinite strike demanding immediate revocation of the attachment order of the Joint Director, Information, Kashmir, Zahoor Ahmad Mir, who is presently attached with the General Administrative Department.

“All offices of the Information Department, both in Kashmir and Jammu, will remain shut till the attachment order of the Joint Director of Kashmir is revoked,” a spokesman of the Employees’ Union said after a meeting today.
