Srinagar: Separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani on Monday described US President Donald Trump''s decision to shift its embassy to Jerusalem as "unjust, biased, anti-Islam and unrealistic".



Srinagar: Separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani on Monday described US President Donald Trump's decision to shift its embassy to Jerusalem as "unjust, biased, anti-Islam and unrealistic". Geelani also expressed "deep sorrow" over the killing and injuring of peaceful protesters in Jerusalem and termed it as "terrorism and beastly act". "We urge the the Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation to take strong note and act unitedly against this anti-Muslim move," Geelani said in a statement and said the prevailing situation in Palestine was "very painful". Geelani blamed "west for backing Israel" and said the country was posing "continuous threat for Muslim Ummah and promoting its plans to manufacture hazardous weapons". TNS
