Kathua, January 17
The family members and relatives of a minor girl, who was allegedly raped and killed at a village in Hiranagar tehsil of the district, blocked the Jammu-Pathankot national highway at Koota Morh for more than an hour alleging police inaction.
The protesters raised slogans against the police and demanded immediate arrest of the accused. Tension had erupted in the village after the body of an eight-year-old girl was found near the forest area of Rasana village.
