Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants killed a man in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir by slitting his throat on Thursday night, police said on Friday.
“Police, in the pre-dawn hours of Friday, recovered the throat-slit body of a man in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district,” a police spokesman said.
He said Mohammad Yaqoob Wagay was brutally killed by militants near his home at Gunda Preng village in Hajin area.
“Investigation indicates complicity of banned LeT terror outfit’s local terrorist Saleem Parrey in the killing,” the spokesman said.
Police had registered a case and started investigation, he added. PTI
