Lok Adalats held in Jammu, Srinagar

JAMMU: The J&K High Court Legal Services Committee, under the patronage of acting Chief Justice of the J&K High Court Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, organised National Lok Adalats at the Jammu and Srinagar wings of the High Court on Sunday.

The J&K High Court Legal Services Committee, under the patronage of acting Chief Justice of the J&K High Court Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, organised National Lok Adalats at the Jammu and Srinagar wings of the High Court on Sunday.

At the Jammu wing of the High Court, two benches were constituted, while at the Srinagar wing, three benches were constituted. A total of 13 cases were settled and Rs 45.92 lakh was awarded as compensation.
