Lt Gen Bhatt briefs Governor on security

JAMMU: Lt Gen AK Bhatt, General Officer Commanding of the 15 Corps, met Governor NN Vohra at Raj Bhawan here today and briefed him about issues relating to the security situation in the Valley.

Jammu, February 17

Lt Gen AK Bhatt, General Officer Commanding of the 15 Corps, met Governor NN Vohra at Raj Bhawan here today and briefed him about issues relating to the security situation in the Valley.

Observing that there was no likelihood of a decline in the continuing terrorist activities, the Governor advised enhanced surveillance along the Line of Control.

The Governor appreciated the Army’s sustained and strong support to the security forces in the Valley in carrying out counter-terrorism operations. — TNS
