JAMMU: A man wanted in a case of rioting was apprehended after evading arrest for the last five years, the police said today.



Jammu, August 20

A man wanted in a case of rioting was apprehended after evading arrest for the last five years, the police said today.

The accused, Mohmmad Bika of Bishnah area in Jammu district, was arrested last night and produced in a court today, a police officer said.

He was booked in a case lodged in 2012 under Sections 353, 336 and 148 of the RPC at the Bishnah police station, the police officer said. — PTI
