One soldier died in Pakistan’s truce violation in Jammu & Kasmhmir’s Sunderbani sector on Saturday, the Army said.

The soldier was identified as Lance Naik Yogesh Muralidhar Bhadane, 28, of Khalane village in Maharashtra’s Dhule district.

He is survived by his wife, Punam Yogesh.

The Army said they retaliated “effectively” to Pakistan’s shelling.
