Jammu, December 28
Rajinder Kumar Bhumbla, DIG, SHQ (Special Operations), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Srinagar, has been honoured with President Police Medal for his distinguished service. The award was presented to him by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh during 54th Raising Day of the SSB at New Delhi recently.
He joined the SSB in December 1987 and has served in West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Uttarakhand and J&K, where his contribution towards the organisation has been exemplary. — TNS
