Internship and training platform, Internshala, has launched the third edition of ‘Intern with Icon’ (IwI).

Internship and training platform, Internshala, has launched the third edition of ‘Intern with Icon’ (IwI). It is a great opportunity for students across India to intern with 15 eminent personalities like Dr Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE; Sona Mohapatra, celebrated singer; Abhinav Bindra, Olympic gold medalist; Rahul Bose, actor and social activist; Jayant Sinha, Minister of State for Civil Aviation; Prof. H.C. Verma, experimental physicist, Sattvik Mishra, CEO and co-founder of ScoopWhoop; PT Usha, Indian track and field athlete; Neeta Lulla, fashion designer….

The desire to give back to the society, contribute towards building the careers of youngsters, and work with bright minds are just a few reasons why these accomplished personalities are excited to be a part of IwI 3.0. The programme was launched in 2016 with the objective to provide students with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work and learn from their role models.

Internships are provided in diverse profiles, ranging from video editing, research, graphic design to social media marketing and management. This initiative will help youngsters acquire job-specific skills from experts. It is one thing to listen to the songs of Sona Mohapatra and Kailash Kher or read about the news coverage on Abhinav Bhindra, but working with these icons will be a unique experience altogether.

On the launch of IwI 3.0, Sarvesh Agrawal, founder & CEO of Internshala, said, “Since 2010, Internshala is on a mission to build a culture of meaningful internships. We have been steadfast in creating unique opportunities for youngsters. Through this initiative, we hope to encourage youth to follow their passion. There is no dearth of talent in India, and we realised that if students can get mentorship from these icons, it would equip them with industry knowledge and soft skills.”
