Fellow Programme in Management

Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur, has announced exam dates for XLRI Research Aptitude Test (XL-RAPT-2018). The test  will be conducted on January 7, 2018.  The test is conducted for taking admission to Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) offered in economics, finance, information systems, marketing, production operations & decision sciences, organisational behaviour, personnel management & industrial relations, HR management and strategic management specialisations for the academic session 2018

The FPM is a full-time, residential programme that trains prospective scholars to become highly skilled and innovative researchers, management thinkers and teachers in various aspects of management. 

Eligibility: For XL-RAPT 2018

Candidates must have Post-graduation from universities (MBA/master’s degree in any discipline India/abroad) and centres of higher learning with at least 55 per cent marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) with the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification with at least 60 per cent marks (55 per cent for SC/ST candidates) obtained after a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent (or);

A professional qualification like CA, ICWA or CS with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates). Or BE/BTech degree or its equivalent with at least 60% marks (50%for SC/ST candidates) and 2 years of relevant work experience

MSc Marine Engineering

The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow,  is inviting applications for MSc in Marine Engineering course starting in September 2018. This programme allows graduate engineers or those from related disciplines to specialise in, or convert to, marine engineering. The programme consists of three components: instructional modules, group project, individual project (MSc only)

The course: This course is accredited by the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) and The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, (IMarEST) on behalf of the UK Engineering Council.

Eligibility: BEng with First, or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours or equivalent overseas qualification.

MSc Applied Geographical Information Systems 

The University of Sheffield, UK is inviting applications for MSc in Applied Geographical Information Systems (GIS ) course starting in September 2018. The course will provide students with the mix of technical skills, practical experience and theoretical understanding they need to launch a successful career in the fields of GIS, applied policy research, or spatial data analysis.
