To celebrate women in science stream, L'Oréal India is calling out to fresh pass-outs from Class XII, currently enrolled in any graduation course in Science stream in any educational institute in India.

Eligibility: Female candidates who have passed Class XII with 85 per cent in PCB or PCM in the current academic year are eligible to apply. Annual family income should be less than Rs 4 lakh.

Details: Up to Rs 2,50,000 will be awarded in instalments until the completion of the programme.

Commonwealth distance learning scholarships 

Meritorious graduates  interested in pursuing master’s degree in the field of Science and Technology, Health Systems, Public Policy and Management, Human Rights, International Relations, Water and Waste Engineering, Gerontology, Public Administration and various other offered courses, through distance learning from select UK universities, can apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility: The candidate must hold academic brilliance in  graduation programme, and hold relevant work experience for the same. The call is for candidates with capacity to leave an impact on the development of the nation.

INSEAD Eric Sasson MBA'90D scholarship 

Meritorious students, who are financially deprived and are willing to pursue MBA degree, are invited by Insead Business School, France, to seek financial assistance.

Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree holders or equivalents from recognised college or university with relevant work experience are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Details: Based on financial condition, students will be awarded an amount of EUR 15,000 to 25,000, which will be deducted from their final year's fee instalment.

Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test  (NEST Junior) 

Students of Class IX to XII, who have enrolled themselves in the science stream or students who are currently in first and second year of diploma engineering, can apply for the scholarship test and get financial aid.

Eligibility: To apply for NEST Junior I, the student must be of Class IX to X, and applicants studying in Class XI to second year of engineering diploma are eligible for NEST Junior II.

Details: Under NEST Junior I, Rs 40,000 will be given to the first position holder and each top 10 students will be rewarded with Rs 25,000. Under NEST Junior II, Rs 50,000 will be awarded to the top rank holder and each top 10-position holder will be rewarded with prize money of Rs 30,000.
