Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, Himachal Pradesh, invites applications for admission to MSc programme for the academic year 2018. The MSc programmes are available in bioinformatics, biotechnology, statistics, physics.

Eligibility 

• MSc (Biotechnology) & MSc (Bioinformatics): A bachelor’s degree in life sciences, environmental sciences, physical sciences, agricultural sciences, computer sciences, medicine (MBBS) or BDS, pharmacy, veterinary and fishery sciences or any other degree recognised by the university with at least 50 per cent marks.
• MSc (Physics): Passed in BSc/ BSc (Honors) with physics as main subject with at least 50 per cent marks.

Eligibility 

• A candidate should have passed Class XII conducted by a central or state board recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.

Applications are invited for a common entrance test forjoint BEd admissions 2018 for colleges of education affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh, Punjabi University, Patiala and Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and situated only in Punjab.

Eligibility 

• Candidates with at least 50 per cent marks either in bachelor’s degree and/or in the master’s degree in science/ social sciences/ humanities/ commerce/ home science/ BBA/ BCA/ BALLB/ B.Com LLB, or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible.
• However, while calculating merit, marks obtained in graduation only will be considered.

Eligibility  

For full-time research scholar

• A candidate possessing the qualifications in appropriate areas and fulfilling the eligibility criteria as prescribed below, shall be eligible for admission to PhD programme in the respective subject.
