Ryan Merit-cum-Means Scholarship

As many as 10 academically brilliant school-going students struggling with financial constraints for continuation of higher education are invited to apply for this scholarship that aims at supporting the underprivileged section of society.

Eligibility: Students of Class VIII to XII who have secured more than 80 per cent in their last examination with family income is less than Rs 2lakh p.a. can apply.

Details: Each selected scholar will be given an amount of Rs 10,000.

The Science and Technology Department is calling out to women candidates to apply for master’s programme withMSc., MPhil., MTech., MPharma., MVSC or equivalent degree or PhD. in any science related streamunder this call.

Eligibility: The applicant must be aged between 27 and 45 years and be a graduate in engineering, technology or anything equivalent or be a post-graduate for PhD. programmes.

Details: A sum of Rs 20,000 p.m. will be given for MSc. in Basic or Applied Sciences, BTech., MBBS or equivalent degree. A sum of Rs 25,000 p.m. will be given for MPhil., MTech., MPharma, MVSc or equivalent degree and Rs 30,000 p.m. will be given for PhD. programme.

ICHR Junior Research Fellowships

The Indian Council of Historical Research invites applications  from students enrolled in any recognised university for the PhD. programme for a duration of two years.

Eligibility: The applicant must be enrolled in PhD. programme in history and its allied subjects in a recognised university.

Details: The selected candidate will get Rs 17,600 per month as fellowship amount as well as a contingency grant of Rs 16,500 per annum for the duration of two years.

Monash International Leadership Scholarship

 Students aspiring to study under- graduation or post- graduation programme overseas get an opportunity to study in Australia’s Monash University. The invite accommodates four applicants who clear the eligibility.

Eligibility: The applicants must have secured a seat in full-time under-graduation or post-graduation course and must not be  receiving any other scholarship or sponsorship. Also, the candidates need to give a statement in 500 words explaining their potential to be an exceptional ambassador for the university.

Details: Scholar will be awarded with full course fee. First year under-graduates will be invited to Monash Minds, a leadership programme and will be profiled in promotional materials and events of the university.
