Culinary arts courses 

Academy of Pastry Arts with centres in Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR, announces the commencement of its culinary. The course commences from April 30, 2018.

Eligibility: Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree, with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA, awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament. Kumaun University, Nainital, invites applications for admission to research degree entrance test for the academic year 2018

Eligibility: A candidate must have a Master’s degree from the Kumaun University (hereafter referred to as University) or of any other university incorporated by the law in force and recognised by the UGC. 

Should have at least 55 per cent marks or a grade point average equivalent to the marks at the Master’s level. Those appearing/appeared in PG final year/ semester exam of the Kumaun University or its affiliated colleges/ institutions may also apply provisionally for the PhD entrance exam

SIU offers research programmes in, law, management, computer studies, media, communication and design, health and biomedical sciences, humanities and social sciences, engineering.

Eligibility: A candidate seeking admission to PhD programme must have Master's degree or equivalent in the relevant subject with 55 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA from any University recognised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in India. In case of candidates holding a qualifying degree from a foreign university, registration for PhD will be confirmed after determination by SIU. Or minimum of five years of work experience.

MSc physics 

Department of Physics RKM Vivekananda University, Howrah, Kolkata, has invited applications for Admission to M.Sc. programme in physics for the academic year 2018 though an entrance test.

Eligibility: Students who will be completing B.Sc. with honours/major in physics during the current academic year or who have completed during the previous year, with at least 60 per cent marks in the honours/major subject.
