How was the journey from a singer to becoming an actor?

Before turning into an actor, I used to do singing and stage shows. I did not earn that much but the journey to becoming an actor has been amazing. I never thought I would come to Mumbai and become an actor.

How did you develop your love for acting?

My love for acting grew when I started acting; I wasn’t an actor when I started working. On the first day, I had no idea how to act but when you eventually work and learn you become a pro. I never wanted to become an actor, though my parents were supportive in whatever I did or I wanted to do.

Do you think playing Alexander in Porus was the right choice?

It was the best choice of my career. The show and the character have given a different dimension to my career now.

People often compare your looks to Hrithik Roshan; what do you have to say?

I take it as a compliment. He is a superstar and has a rocking career.

What are your goals now?

All my focus is on Porus now. It perks me up daily. I would like to do reality shows in future. I don’t like to repeat roles and crave to do different work each time. I am a choosy and greedy actor.
