A leaf from an intern’s diary

While students are struggling for internships during the summer vacations, the Dabangg girl, Sonakshi Sinha recalled her days of being an intern. The actress, who pursued her fashion designing course from SNDT, Mumbai, reminisced interning for photographers, designers and even volunteering as an usher!  As a part of web series, Intern Diaries, which features Sonakshi Sinha and top designers such as Masaba Gupta, Anita Dongre, Manish Malhotra and Payal Singhal, Sonakshi, went down the memory lane sharing anecdotes from her college days. Before becoming a star, she was pursuing her studies and like any other student, took up an internship to gain hands-on experience. Sonakshi says, “The interns these days are so prim and proper. They are so aware of everything, so focused with their hair and make-up. We used to go as if we just woke up from our beds and just scrammed. It was so much fun.” 

Further, talking about how her internship has influenced her fashion sense as an actress, she said, "Whatever I have learnt, I still use it even though I am not a part of the fashion industry directly."
