Colourful strokes: Renu Aggarwal

In this festive season of lights and fervour, city-based artist Renu Aggarwal is displaying her creative works at Hotel Aroma, Sector 22, Chandigarh. The painting exhibition “Odyssey” is an amalgamation of paintings in acrylic, water colours, and oil on canvas. Exuding the vibrancy of spring and autumn, her paintings are characterised by bright hues, vivacious, bold, and free-flowing strokes. With nature as her inspiration, Renu experiments with recreating the myriad nuances of nature.

As a seasoned artist, Renu has conducted many solo art exhibitions in the past and her work has been lauded by various state and national-level art organizations. “I pour colours onto my canvas and let my imagination take its course to give shape to my semi-abstract works”, states Renu, giving us a peak into her creative world.

The calmness of Buddha, and blooming lotuses in one of her paintings, is sure to add perfect positive energy and zest in our mundane daily lives. As an example of a perfect mix of delicate and bold strokes, she has captured the liveliness of the flutter of butterfly wings with sheer magnificence in another of her artworks.

Her paintings have an eclectic mix of a wide range of pleasing floral themes which are sure to enliven any living space. Her work captures true flavour of spring in all its glory to which she has lent her imaginative hues. She has also played around with the female form which she considers as one of the most alluring and beautiful aspects of nature.

Very brilliantly, she uses an elegant mix of colours to showcase the essence of a woman’s beauty.
