I do not think about that. I just try to do what I can do. I love my work and am not in any race.  

Any particular reason you chose this show?

This show is very close to my heart because if I ever have a child I would want it to be a girl. I like how this show will impact the minds of viewers and how it can be a turning point in their lives. 

What is the show Chakravyuh 

all about?

The show showcases the life of a royal industrialist’s family and focuses on an innocent girl’s story, who is abandoned by her mother. She seeks love in her foster parents. Highlighting the problems girls majorly face in India — about being given second preference always - Chakravyuh takes a step forward.

What are the preparations 

you did for the role?

It was very difficult to get into the character’s skin because of the dialect and I used to practice the same everyday with my husband. Though he did not understand a word, he used to patiently listen to me and that was a sweet gesture. My look from the show is also very ‘royal’ and it gets difficult to carry it with such ease, but it’s managed! Now I am habitual with the routine and team Chakravyuh has become like a family. 

How will this show be different from the others? 

This show will create an impact in the minds of the viewers against the injustice being done to the girl child. This show will particularly highlight the prejudice.
