Ali is now Mir Fateh

Not many will know, actor Ali Fazal is known as Mir Fateh in the interiors of Banaras and Lucknow of late. 

No, it’s not some character name. The actor has recently taken fighting real underground matches for Mirzapur and had to register his name in. Ali, who plays the role of Guddu Pandit, a gangster set to take over a lawless land where trade of arms and drugs in web series Mirzapur, says, “I had to change my name to be able to enter these places.” The actors adds, “It’s been the scariest time while shooting for Mirzapur, yet adventurous. ”
