Punjabi singer Kulwinder Billa had been getting offers to act in Punjabi films for a long time now, sometimes he decided to take them up, but most of the times, he wasn't really convinced. But this time, both his heart and mind came together to help him take the big decision, and so he finally said yes to a Punjabi film being made on Subedar Joginder Singh.

This movie is being backed by one of the best production houses, Unisys Infosolutions and Saga, and the best of the industry, Gippy Grewal."  The film, which is currently being shot in Rajasthan, will see an early 2018 release. Kulwinder is prepping up for his role. "I play a Gursikh soldier in the film, a close aide of the Subedar," he shares while further telling us about how he is preparing for the role. "I am growing a beard for the same as this would not only make my character look real, it will also help me get into the skin of the character."

Known for his songs, Time table, Chakkwein suit, Tayari han di, DJ Vajda and many more, Kulwinder has always maintained that he does not want to get into the rut, as he wants his work to look different and stand out.
